Multi-Spectral Controls for Research

Multi-Spectral Controls for Research

The innovative RAYN Syrcadia software offers granular control of variable spectrum horticultural research luminaires and supplemental devices, like dimmers and relays. The software runs on the RAYN Touch controller or on a PC and controls multiple growing zones independently, with the ability to record specific spectra and trigger those spectra using day plans with to-the-second, time-of-day commands. Record sequences of days with iterations to manage crop illumination automatically within each zone. With the spectra recording, scheduling, and reporting features in RAYN Syrcadia, researchers can easily recreate lighting conditions for each experiment.

Multi-Spectral Controls for Research

Easy installation, sophisticated control

RAYN Syrcadia software makes it easy to set up spectra using a graphical interface, displaying the number of emitted μmol/s for each waveband of each light. RAYN Syrcadia supports up to 80 individually controllable luminaires or relays per installation. Make the system your own by setting each luminaire to any desired spectral mix.

Monitor PAR with the RAYN Photo Sensor. When paired with the Photo Sensor, RAYN Syrcadia’s Daily Light Integral (DLI) control allows you to monitor and adjust the amount of light energy your plants receive each day.

Track the feedback from RAYN sensors directly in RAYN Syrcadia with a history graph and export collected data as a report. RAYN Syrcadia configurations, including spectral levels and day plan programming, can also be exported for accurate record keeping.

Get hands-on with RAYN Touch

The RAYN Touch grow light controller offers a dedicated hardware solution for RAYN Syrcadia software. It’s entirely self-contained with a touchscreen, data connections, and a wireless sensor antenna. Use the simple, direct touch interface to combine spectra and day plans into comprehensive crop plans in your research environment.

White Light Controls for Production Farming

White Light Controls for Production Farming

RAYN’s white light control products ensure that your crops receive consistent and reliable light energy. Our robust solutions simplify your setup, automatically dimming fixtures on a schedule and adjusting light levels based on information relayed by RAYN Photo Sensors.

  • Wireless Time Clock: This solution brings time-based control to your RAYN system, specifying both lighting levels and spectrum on a designated schedule. Its Group feature enables greenhouses to organize multiple rooms or grow areas into a single point of control.
  • Multi-Button Station: With a simple user interface, the Multi-Button Station allows growers to manually override level and spectrum settings as needed.
  • RAYN Photo Sensors: The RAYN Photo Sensor measures PAR and wirelessly communicates light level information to the system’s 0-10 V fixture controllers.
  • 0-10 V ELED2-BCL & ELED1 fixture controllers: These durable grow light controllers receive light level information from RAYN Photo Sensors and automatically dim the fixtures.

With these industrial control solutions in place, you can depend on your horticultural system to deliver the exact light levels your crops need all while saving energy.
