RAYN Vision System (RVS) Analytics is an open-source application for the processing and analysis of hyper- and multispectral images from multiple sources, including RVS Cameras online in the same network. It is based on PlantCV, an open-source image analysis software package targeted for plant phenotyping.
Supports multiple hyper- and multispectral image sources.
User-Friendly Interface: Easily set regions of interest (ROIs).
Interactive Masking: Select masking methods and thresholds with ease.
Base Analysis Script: Analyze shape, size parameters, and selected reflectance indices.
Customizable: Add your own analysis scripts and UI elements.
Preview Data Visualization: Quickly preview output
We believe in giving back to the community and fostering true collaboration. By open-sourcing RAYN Vision System (RVS) Analytics, we aim to work closely with researchers and developers, acknowledging every contribution and ensuring that the collective effort benefits all. Additionally, we do not want to monetize a community-driven project, staying true to the open-source ethos.
• Innovation: Encourage rapid advancements through shared knowledge and contributions from a global community.
• Accessibility: Make advanced spectral image analysis tools available to everyone, breaking down barriers to entry.
• Transparency: Ensure accountability and trust through open development processes
RVS Analytics is built on PlantCV, a well-established open-source library for plant phenotyping. By leveraging this robust foundation, we ensure that our tool benefits from proven methods and community-driven improvements.
We are committed to working with the community on an equal footing. Instead of simply collecting data and feedback, we actively collaborate with scientists and developers to co-create and improve the application. All contributions are acknowledged and valued.
The source code for RVS Analytics is available on GitHub. You can access it here.
